The W Exhibition, the number one event in the UK for the carpentry and furniture industry, is about to become a "technical takeover" when it opens its doors to visitors of the NEC on 27 and 30 September.
Software companies have signed up to exhibit at the show, with the W Exhibition organizers reporting a peak in "tech" related brands that have identified the event as an important platform to help them reach potential customers.
The line-up includes Staircon, SEMA GmbH and Compass Software, which specialize in stair design and production software. Suppliers of joinery design and production software, such as Cinch Software, CNC Software Solutions and Planet Software, will also exhibit. They join an extensive line-up, with more than 85% of the stands reserved for The W Exhibition 2020.
About the growing technical line-up, The W Exhibition and Elements MD, Nickie West says: “Just like in industry, robotics, software and wider technology have a huge impact on the way furniture is manufactured and it is important that the W Exhibition moves with the times and reflects the needs of the industry.
"We are excited to see an increase in the number of software and tech vendors who have wanted to exhibit at the W Exhibition this year and will reflect the appetite for this type of content through new show features and our brand new CPD Approved learning program."
The W exhibition has more than 40 years of heritage and continues to grow. It returns to the NEC for its biennial four-day showcase from 27 to 30 September. The show brings together a number of & # 39; the world's leading suppliers of woodworking machines, materials and tools.
