UK – Market research platform Attest has secured $15m in funding from an unnamed investor and made two new hires.
The backing follows Attest’s $16m in Series A funding last year, led by venture capital firm NEA.
NEA participated in the most recent funding, while the name of the investor leading the round has not been disclosed.
The investment will aid the company’s expansion in the US, where it has appointed Marc Shraer as senior vice-president for North America and Tamer Abouleinein as account executive.
Schraer, based in New York, previously held roles at tech platforms including Contently and Kurtosys Systems.
Jeremy King, founder and chief executive at Attest (pictured), said: “With many companies seeking clarity on events evolving in real-time, and working hard to adjust to remote working, quick access to reliable data is more important than ever.”
King added that the company has seen increased activity on its platform during the pandemic.
